Me? I previously worked in a large scientific research organisation, where my role was that of Identity and Access manager – supporting and improving the Active Directory environment and providing Identity Management services, through scripting, VB.Net code and FIM 2010 R2. Prior to that, I worked in IT in various guises for newspaper print, advertising agency and charity organisations.

I now work for Avanade, helping organisations make the most of technology and promoting the use of Microsoft solutions – primarily: FIM/ MIM, Active Directory, Office 365, EM+S, ADFS, Azure and AzureAD.

I promote consistency via automation, thus I use scripting or other tools to achieve these goals.

This site is primarily a dumping ground for bits of knowledge that I have picked up over the years for the benefit of others and also as a place for me to return to for a reminder of how I did something previously.
